Ben and Grace were great. It was a slow day, but Ben got us on some walleye and lake trout. Ben and Grace kept changing lures and baits to see what the fish wanted. Great personalities and fun to fish with. I hope to book with them again.

We booked a charter fishing trip with captain Ben Johnson in June of 2025, and he went above and beyond all expectations. Lots of knowledge, and just a great captain and crew to be around. We hope to book another charter with him again in August. Would definitely recommend to all friends and family!

I've tried several other charters off Barker's Island, but none compare to this one. The boat is fantastic to fish from—clean and comfortable with no unpleasant gas fumes. The captain and first mate were absolutely top-notch. Highly recommend!

Captain Ben and his first mate made an incredible team! While we didn’t catch any fish, it wasn’t for lack of effort—they gave it their all, but the current just wasn’t in our favor. Despite that, we had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend a trip with Captain Ben. It was so much fun!

I told Captain Ben and his mate, Connor, that there was no pressure since the trip was part of a graduation gift, and they truly knocked it out of the park. We managed to catch several fish, and my daughter even caught her largest fish to date! We'll definitely be booking again.
