For those after bigger catches, Captain Ben uses heavy tackle to handle larger fish like lake trout and walleye, providing the strength needed to reel in these powerful species. Trolling is a favored technique, especially for covering vast areas of the lake and attracting fish at different depths, while jigging offers a more active and engaging method, allowing anglers to work the bait to entice strikes from bottom-dwelling species. No matter the technique, Captain Ben adapts his approach to match the conditions and his guests' preferences, ensuring a rewarding fishing adventure.
